A photojournalist, videographer, and communications expert based out of Orange County, California,, Daniel has a passion for social justice work and uplifting the voices of the unheard.

Current freelance work mainly featured in the Orange County Register. Previous staff jobs and internships have been at the Taos News, Las Vegas Review-Journal, and Orange County Business Journal.

Daniel graduated from Chapman University in 2023 with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a Minor in Visual Journalism. He served as a Staff Photographer and Photo Editor at Chapman University’s student-run newspaper, The Panther.

Other experience includes contract work at Outside Magazine, interning at the Orange Coast Magazine, as well as reporting and photographing for Voice of OC, a nonprofit news outlet in Orange County that has an investigative and social justice centered mission.

Daniel grew up in National Parks throughout Colorado, Utah, California, Washington, Idaho, and Arizona, alongside a foreign exchange in Valparaíso, Chilé. Daniel enjoys running, reading, and exploring with a camera in his free time.
