Current freelance work mainly featured in the Orange County Register. Previous staff jobs and internships have been at the Taos News, Las Vegas Review-Journal, and Orange County Business Journal.

Daniel graduated from Chapman University in 2023 with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a Minor in Visual Journalism. He served as a Staff Photographer and Photo Editor at Chapman University’s student-run newspaper, The Panther.

Other experience includes commercial marketing work at EtekCity as a production assistant, contract work at Outside Magazine, interning at the Orange Coast Magazine, as well as reporting and photographing for Voice of OC, a nonprofit news outlet in Orange County that has an investigative and social justice centered mission.

Daniel grew up in National Parks throughout Colorado, Utah, California, Washington, Idaho, and Arizona, alongside a foreign exchange in Valparaíso, Chilé. Daniel enjoys running, reading, and exploring with a camera in his free time.
